Composition: J507FeNi is a low-alloy steel welding electrode that contains iron (Fe) powder. It is specifically designed for welding low-alloy steels.

Coating: The electrode is coated with a low-hydrogen sodium coating. This type of coating helps to protect the weld metal from contamination and ensures good weld quality.

DCEP Connection Method: J507FeNi adopts the direct current electrode positive (DCEP) connection method. This means that the electrode is connected to the positive terminal of the power source. DCEP is commonly used for welding applications with low-carbon or low-alloy steel electrodes.

Welding Positions: The electrode is designed for all positions welding. It can be used in horizontal, vertical, overhead, and flat welding positions, providing versatility in welding operations.

Excellent Welding Performance: J507FeNi offers excellent welding performance, which includes characteristics such as a stable arc, good control, and ease of operation. These features contribute to achieving high-quality welds.

Good Low-Temperature Impact Toughness: The electrode exhibits good low-temperature impact toughness. This means that the resulting welds have the ability to withstand low temperatures without becoming brittle or experiencing a significant reduction in strength. The electrode's properties make it suitable for applications where low-temperature impact resistance is required.

It's important to note that specific welding parameters and techniques may vary depending on the specific application, base metal, and welding conditions. Following the manufacturer's guidelines and consulting with welding experts can help ensure optimal results when using J507FeNi.

Precautions

1. The welding electrode should be baked at about 350℃ for 1h before welding, and it should be preheated only upon use.
2. Impurities such as rust, oil stain and moisture must be cleared off of the work piece before welding.
