Introduction

The segment valve is a valve set by the hot water heating pipeline to reduce the water discharge during maintenance and shorten the drainage and water filling time in the accident state. The sectional valve is also used to cut off the faulty pipe section, so that the normal pipe section may continue to supply heat, thereby improving the reliability of the heating supply of the pipe network. Transmission and distribution trunk lines generally set up a segment valve every 1000-1500m.

Features

A retainer is cast on the body of the segment valve to eliminate possible residue build-up spaces between the seat ring and the valve body. Therefore, it ensures a perfect seal. Specialized spring design reduces valve torque while providing tight sealing force. The pressurized seat design provides excellent sealing even at very low differential pressures. The stem is finely ground to perfectly match the actuator, preventing oscillating motion and potential failure of segmented valves.
